I was going to make a couple of brews but have no nutrient and cannot get it locally, I have read on the forum that you can use tomato puree, is this as good as yeast nutreant or just a stop gap?
I've read that too, but I'm bu99ered if I can understand why it would work. :wha:
A search on the Harris forum brought back nothing, so google it yourself and report your findings.
Now Marmite's a different matter, yeasties like their B vitamins, but just a quarter of a tsp to the gallon.
