I think bob you could do with a few more lights. There just seem to be a few dark patches.

  I'm off to B&Q tomorrow. Lights are on sale. I did have another set of 400 but they went in the window.

A christmas tree fell on my brand new copy of Frank Zappa's "Hot Rats", gouging two huge scratches across it, back in 1970 (or 71, maybe)

Disaster, that's a bloody good album.

Yeh, they re-mixed it for the CD version and ruined it

I'm regretting saying that we should get a real tree this year. We pulled out the old faithful fake tree from the loft only to find that it had lost 2 of it's feet in the move to the new house earlier in the year. So I set off to the local garden centre (I like to support local businesses at this time of year) to get a real one. I picked a lovely looking 7 foot Nordman. It was only when I got to the check out (with a massive queue behind me) that I discovered that the tree plus the stand which you have to buy with trees these days was 80 feckin quid! (£45 for the tree, £35 for the stand, for comparison sake) so much for supporting local businesses... next year I'm going to a forest after dark with a wood saw....
