Biden has given the green light for Ukraine to use long range missiles these have a range of 200 miles, Putin has already said he will use nukes if they hit Russia will this force Putin into a corner and he will use them?

If they kill hundreds of Korean troops is this not going to escalate the war?

Part of BBC article -
Serhiy Kuzan, chairman of the Kyiv-based Ukrainian Security and Cooperation Centre, told the BBC that Joe Biden's decision was "very important" to the country.

“It’s not something that will change the course of the war, but I think it will make our forces more equal.”

ATACMS can reach up to 300km (186 miles). Unnamed US officials have told the New York Times and the Washington Post that Biden's approval of Ukraine's use of the ATACMS came in response to Russia's decision to allow North Korean soldiers to fight in Ukraine.

Mr Kuzan said Sunday's decision had come ahead of what was an expected assault by Russian and Korean troops, designed to dislodge Ukrainian forces from Russia's Kursk region. The offensive was expected within days.

Ukraine had earlier estimated there to be 11,000 North Korean soldiers in Kursk.

President Biden’s decision will also finally enable Britain and France to grant Ukraine permission to use long-range Storm Shadow missiles inside Russia.

Neither the UK nor France has yet responded to Biden's decision.

14 air bases now in range do you think Putin is going to let them destroy them and do nothing in return?

WW3 might just save the planet. We're overpopulated by a factor of 10 and there seems no way anybody is going to see sense (apart fro Greta). A good thinning out is the only way anybody's going to have a future. Nukes is probably overkill, though. No pun intended.

“For heaven's sake mankind,... I'm sorry, but if you can't be bothered to take an interest in local affairs that's your own lookout. "Energize the demolition beams."
Light poured out into the hatchways.
"I don't know," said the voice on the PA, "apathetic bIoody planet, I've no sympathy at all."
It cut off. There was a terrible ghastly silence.
There was a terrible ghastly noise.
There was a terrible ghastly silence.
The Vogon Constructor fleet coasted away into the inky starry void.

Get some stable iodine, stockpile supplies & start digging your shelter in the garden.
Excellent idea. Iodine to sterilise the equiment and test for starch, sacks full of every conceivable malt and a new pub at the bottom of the garden where you can turn up the music as loud as you like.
Bring it on says I.

Don't talk ballcocks. The British Army is invincible and can easily take Putin, Young 'un and Exy PingPong with one hand tied behind its back.
Can i have some what you are smoking please?

The UK armed forces are shadow our budgets are pitiful our numbers are tiny and we have one nuclear delivery system.

Do I think this is WW3? not just yet the big players are not fully engaged yet, once Trump is dismissed by Putin then things might get scary.

Do i think Russia will use nukes? no they know there is no way back if we go down this route its the end game.

only thing that will stop this is money, if the world and I include the UK would stop directly or indirectly buying and trading with Russia and cut them off as they claimed the money would dry up eventually. The number of countries still buying Russian Oil and Gas and allowing Russian monies to be laundered in their shores is big part of the problem

No to WW3, we all have too much to lose if anyone uses nukes.

I'm of the opinion that the war will be over soon anyway once Trump pulls the plug on US funding. It'll be a disaster for Ukraine and in my view Europe as well. Russian interference won't end here, it'll be Moldova next and who knows where after. It would have been cheaper in money and manpower to have let Ukraine fight without one hand tied around their balls for the last three years, instead we drip feed them just enough to hold the line, I would be very angry if I was Ukrainian.

You can't bet on that. We're dealing with narcissists here: Trump, Putin, Young 'un - not sure about Exy. You just can't predict what they'll do if their vanity is hurt. In Putin's case, there's probably a good number of the Russian Security services ready to shoot him in the head if he takes a step towards the Button. Young 'un, certainy not. Trump, we don't know how things are going to settle down between him and the US military yet- wouldn't count on anything.

Yes, all these things are a problem, but they've nothing to do with Russia's integrity. They can manage without western support. They've done it before and Putin would probably prefer that they go back to those happy days.

So it's you who's being unduly optimistic, not me. I was only having a laugh.

They're not suddenly in range - Ukraine has been striking way past Moscow already. This is just another example of Putin controlling the narrative when the reality is that nothing much has changed, Ukraine just gets a wider choice of weapons to use in strikes that it is already making. It's just another of Putin's so-called red lines (remember missile strikes on Crimea and any incursion into Russian territory?) that is nothing of the sort, it's just bluster.

No more than invading another country is an escalation. Those Koreans are killing Ukrainians - what are they meant to do, use water pistols against them? That's war. It's not Ukraine's fault that they have weakened the mighty Russian army so much that Putin has had to go crawling to Kim Jong Un to beg him for cannon fodder to defend Russian territory. It's just another sign of Putin's weakness.

Not wanting to argue but dig deeper into Russian fiances they are not as self sufficient as you might think, they still relay on trade outside their borders to turn their resources into cash its no secret.
The rate they are manufacturing ammunition and military equipment is unsustainable, likewise the west can not keep funding Ukraine indefinitely, this needs to come to a head worldwide economics is still recovering from the pandemic and a long drawn out or full scale war is not in anyone's interest.
