WOW, Pineapple & ermmmmm something else.... Not sure if the last one will even work, but will give it a go :)
I went to Lidl this morning for some white grape juice but the didn't have any, all they had was a red/white mix, so I have used that instead of just white and mixed with orange juice. (is that a RWOW?)
Anyway, they are bubbling away on my kitchen becnh, so something is happening, I also made one of Moley's WOW and one made with pineapple.... touch wood they will be ok... this is also my first attempt so probably being wayyyyy too ambitious :D :D

I use lidls red & white grape juice as the base for fuit tea wines. Havent made one yet that didnt taste good. Blagged the receipe off of here, quick to make and bit of a cupboard filler.

Cheers fella... been thinking about making some wine with the Twinning fruit teas.... what was the taste and % like?, any favourite flavour? :D
I set away another version of WOW tonight, using a polish fruit juice that I found in Asda at the weekend.... Costa blackcurrent, must say looks a great colour...

I usually add sugar to make it around 13%, they dont seem to last very long in my house but I've made Summer fruits (Morrsions) twice and Blackcurrent Vanilla and ginseng (twinnigs I thnk) three times an also Strawbery Raspbery & Loganberry (twinnings) and Forest Fruits which I think was a Lipsons.

Just to chuck a relpy in, found a tea bag at Lidls thats called Morello cherry, got dried fruit pieces in it, that, 2 cartons of thier red and white grape juice, pound and a half of sugar, well worth a go!

I've never has the tea wines before, but stuck my first 2 batches on this week! :) got a mango and strawberry and a cherry & cinnamon on :) both twinings (which are coincidently 3 for £2.50 at tesco just now-got blackberry & nettle to put on when I have an empty DJ) I used 2L WGJ in the mango & strawberry, and 2L RGJ in the cherry & cinnamon (thought it would be nice to have at xmas). I like sweet wine,so steeped the teabags in 2pt water for about an hour (chucked in 2 normal teabages for about half hour for tannin), bunged 1K of sugar dissolved in around 1.5pt of water in with the GJ and tea liquid, then added citric acid, yeast & nutrient when cooled. I used super yeast in mine, ended up with SG of 1120, and plan to stop and stabilise at around 1.015/1.010ish which should leave me with a 14/15 % sweet wine if all goes to plan :) taste from trial jar before pitching yeast was amazing, should be pretty good when all done :)

I've been reading these Tea wine threads with interest.

I've purchased my cheap tea bags from Tescos and will be starting a batch of this this weekend.
