I'm not sure I'd agree with him there, but when in Rome (or Colorado) I'd be curious as to what flavours it would impart if nothing else. I've always preferred a toke on the crack pipe with my beer though.

I did some wine in my youth, the recipe was called two's too much but I doubled up the weed and called it one's enough and it was! Turned a little sherry like after a year and seemed even stronger, quite trippy!

Having actually watched the video now - the beer looks like a bit of a gimmick to me. A way of making some cash out of the worthless parts of the plants.

With Colorado being such a weed tourist destination in the States and the fact that the beer doesn't have any of the psych-active ingredients from the cannabis then I agree with dan, it's just a gimmick. If they did produce a beer that did impart THC to the drinker I'd certainly try a bottle or two but with the way they mix I'm not sure I'd drink a lot of them.

Bit of a tricky one this chaps. Obviously discussion of drug use is banned on the forum. But if you've watched the video in the OP, the beer doesnt contain any THC. So we (the mod team) think it's fine to discuss cannabis in beer as a flavouring and any possible health benefits, as this is what the beer in the vid is using cannabis for. But please dont discuss anything to do with the more narcotic side of cannabis. To this end I've removed two posts as it discusses this.

My personal opinion on this is, as others have said, It's just a gimmick

Not that I care to argue that it should be discussed, I'd point out that drug use is not illegal in the UK; possession, supply, cultivation, import/export, allowing consumption on premises are all illegal.

I'm sure it's probably an important point in law but practically the above makes it nigh on impossible to consume (the only bit that appears legal) canabis legally

My take on this having started this thread, is that it is a bit of a gimmick as others have said. Most folks who try it will do so out of curiosity, and a lot of these will be expecting a weed hit which of course won't happen. So will they be hooked (no pun intended) and buy more, who knows?
That said, we add all sorts of stuff to basic hopped beers, including soft fruit, chillis, lemon, chocolate, and coffee to name a few that I am aware of. There will be more.
I would give it a go, just to try it. It can't be any worse that a pint of draught lager from the pub :sick:.
