Hi, I am hoping to start a pomegranate Wow this afternoon. (my first one) The only juice my local supermarket carries is this:

Ingredients:
Water, Pomegranate Juice from concentrate (18%), Sugar, Acid (Citric Acid), Colour (anthocyanins), Flavourings.

Total sugar content is 85g per ltr.

Would 2ltrs of this and 1ltr of rgj be OK? Aslo, as this also contains citric acid, would I still need to add a tsp of citric acid powder as most recipes recommend?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi CS.
If your local is ASDA, I was thinking of trying their own
Juice one to one with raj, no acid like you said, and
150g currants.

I have made this many times but with WGJ and am sure the juice was higher than 18%, if its too watery you could always add some juice after stabilising.

This would be fine IMO. Add half a litre of apple juice if you have some, but would probably be OK without...

Thanks for the advice. Think I will make a trip to Asda tomorrow and see what they have. Try and get a higher juice %.

Try 1 litre of red grape juice or white grape juice (if you can find it) and a litre of apple juice, i think you will be impressed.
