just done a pills lager and made a hop tea for it and am going to try the w34/70 yeast. it says to ferment at 12c but my wort is 25c ive put the fv in the fridge to cool it down, my question is how long is it safe to keep wort before i pitch my yeast, could take a while to cool down to 12c :x

As long as everything is super clean and no nasties can get into the FV you should be fine for at least 24 hours, I doubt it will take that long to cool down though.

Rehydrate the yeast with 110ml cooled boiled water at 23C + or - 3C, leave for 15-30 mins then stir gently for another 30mins, then pitch at 12-15C, ferment at 12C

Good luck
