Frozen* is loosely written about the Ice Queen (or Snow Queen, depending on translation), but not really. I mean, other than a bit of snow and ice, that's pretty much where it stops

And whilst I don't disagree, I'll put money on it, a lot of the parents have probably never read the Arabian Nights or the Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales. Few will have read the Sea Maiden (The Little Mermaid), as it's not one of Hans Christian Andersen's popular stories.
And certainly Mulan and Merida (Brave) are all invented Disney characters.
Cinderella and Pocahontas came from 17th century scripts, neither of which are in English.

*As an aside, Elsa is actually not a Disney princess, as she's actually a Queen.

Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a character created by American novelist Thomas Harris.
