There is no need to add any CO2 for now as the suger you have added should react with any yeast that is left in the brew, this is where the fizz comes from and it will add the CO2 layer that you are looking for as well. When you are drinking the brew and get about half way down you will need to add CO2. Just a few weeks left till I can have my Wherry :) :drink:

Just moved my Wherry in to the outside toilet to condition and couldn't help having a little taste. Well I wasn't disappointed loving it. Can't wait till 4 weeks time when I can have more than just a taster. Even tempted to get another one on the go.
Outside toilet?? Make sure you dont get mixed up after a few

Thanks for that.

Looking back through this thread it looks as though I transferred mine to a cooler place the day before you did... Who's gonna be drinking theirs first!? :D

If you have the keg that comes with the Wherry starter kit you wont need to add co2 for the first 3 or 4 pints as the priming sugar you added will create the fiz and a protective layer of c02 at the top. You will notice after about 3 or 4 pints or when the the liquid gets to the first moulded band that the beer flows very slowly from the tap. This is the time to add c02 from the buld that came with the kit. You will need more c02 bulbs to finish the contents of your keg but a pack of 10 is about £5. This is what I was told when I bought the kit earlier this week. I will be kegging this weekend and it will be my first use of a keg.

I just got my Wherry on

It's my first time keeping it in the garage as well. So far the water bath using aquarium heater seems to be keeping it at a steady 22C :D

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Lol luckily we don't use it at the moment and its full of junk plus empty bottles and all my brews that are conditioning or just bring kept cool. Was thinking about clearing it out and going out there for a cheeky drink when the wife ain't looking lol (2 birds 1 stone and all that :lol).
