Hi all, I started a kit off on Sunday. I've never done a wobbly god before.
I was confused as to weather or not I add sugar, because the kit didn't say "don't add sugar for fermentation" or "now add your 1kg of sugar", it just said use sugar for priming bottles/keg.
So I didn't add sugar.
I've had it sitting in the garage at sound 20-22°c for 3 days, using the water tank and aquarium heater. I've never done it this way before.
I stupidly didn't check it with my hydrometer at the start, as it said brew until it gets to around 1.004.
After 3 days, it's on 1.04.
Is something wrong, is that about right? or will it right itself in a few days?
