Winter stout swap style poll

Looks like Tropical and Oatmeal are going to be the style options. Swaps are likely to contain both styles. As others have said already this exercise is supposed to be a learning experience. I tried Brussel Sprouts for the first time recently, a sweeter stout will several steps up the ladder from those evil green feckers.

I've gone for tropical and oatmeal. Tropical because I have often thought about making one and oatmeal because I have a solid recipe.

I’m happy with either style but I think I will sit this one out.

I think having two different styles makes the swap pointless for me as I like to compare beers of the same style.

I’m not really a stout fan so just going to do a 10l batch. However the Saison swap was an eye opener so I’m going to try and do all of them come what may.

Went for lunch at 1 and a few pints. Met friends and stayed to 10pm. Not a good idea when drinking pints at 6.5%.
