For now I have ordered a few more bits. I am starting to get quite a collection of gear together. I am trying to build up and get some inventory together before cracking into any bottles.

I have a Wineworks Australian Chardonnay bottled, a California Connoisseur Sauvignon Blanc in secondary fermentation and a Beaverdale Pinot Grigio in primary.

I have also ordered some Star San this time and I'm going to use one of those bottle washers combined with my bottle tree. I have also ordered 18 1.5l bottles of wine from Ebay. I guess to begin with I will swing more to larger wine bottles and collect a few DJ's together as well to give that a go. I may as well try most methods and see what works best.

Contradicts itself really though on videos I have seen of using these bottle washers. They are basically just a reservoir of sterilising solution and you push the bottle onto it and it squirts in it. Most videos show them using regular sterilising powder and just 3 squirts or so and then let it drain. But then the sterilising solution claims it needs like 10 min contact time. Anyways it should work ok with Star San and cleaning the bottles well after emptying them of wine.
