Wine kit mistake

Hello,
A friend of mine has started his first ever wine kit and accidentally topped up to 25 litres instead of 23. His starting gravity is within limits but he is concerned about the end result regarding taste and ABV. Any ideas or opinions would be most welcome. Thanks. Andy.

I started to add an extra litre to my 30 bottle kits so I get close to 30 and I haven't noticed the difference.

If it's a white wine, probably not a problem. If it's a red it might be more noticeable. I always make my red kits up short - ie to 20 L instead of 23L.

Should be fine but could add 500 ml of white grape concentrate if they're worried about it being weaker and diluted...
