Willamette hops.

Thinking of using Willamette hops for the first time at the weekend. Just wondering has any one used them as a single hop brew. Reading here http://beerlegends.com/willamette-hops they seem to imply it's only really suitable as an aroma hop.

ive never used them but if i was going to probably use cascade or something similar at start of boil

I do like these hops, nice bit of blackcurrent. There is a Marc Ollosson recipe for Townes IPA; pale malt with a bit of wheat malt to OG1045, Willamette at start of boil and at 15mins to 40IBU, I've got it on my to do list. I'm sure you'll be happy with your brew.
