Will this work for a strawberry beer?

I am toying with the idea of trying to make a strawberry beer, it would be nice if it came out similar to fruli, but I don't think that would happen.

I was going to get a brewferm wheat beer kit and mash up some strawberries to add to this, just wondering if anyone had done this and if it would be best to add these at the start or wait for fermentation to complete and then add them. Or maybe get some strawberry concentrate?

I would like to go AG with this but at the moment don't have time space or funds to get a set up

I recently made strawberry cider and it was strawberry concentrate that went in at the bottling stage and it worked out really nice.

I think most friut beers have the fruit added after the initial fermentation. like dry hopping.
