First kit brew I was using a borrowed cheapo barrel and it worked great
but now has lost its pressure due to drinking some and it does not have a valve to inject gas

I now have some cornies so can I transfer the beer successfully and gas it up in there .

Yup, clean and sanitise your cornie, purge the air out of there with some C02 (this prevents oxidation of beer on transfer) and then rack your kit to the corny. Racking tube right to the bottom of the corny (reduces splashing and risk of oxidation) or rack through the 'beer out' disconnect, using tube onto the disconnect :thumb:

If you have got cornies why are you using a cheap plastic barrel :wha: :wha:
