I've got five gallons of cider that I think I'm ready to bottle. And, I'm hoping to have it carbonate in the bottle.

I pitched the yeast on Jan 20. Its gone through the rolling boil process and finally slowed to an occassional bubble out the airlock. The SG is at 1.000 (no sugar).

My plan is to add 1 teaspoon of sugar and a bit of nutrient to each bottle. My hope is that will give me the additional carbonation I'm looking for.

Any suggestions?

Leave out the nutrient, doesn't need it, it'll carbonate just fine without.

Great advice! After almost two weeks, my latest test bottle has plenty of fizz. Just makes me smile. I'm going to cold storage now and let it age.
