As above. Could someone using one of these possibly throw a tape over the height of it and let me know? Would like to know in advance if one will fit in my allotted kitchen brewing cupboard!

Cheers. Ian

Cheers Jimmy but it's actually screw top ones I was thinking of. 25l and £14.
They look a bit taller than the bucket type fv's so if, with an airlock on top they're taller than 545mm I'm knackered!

I called wilco the other day with exactly this question

I just boxed mine up for storage and I don't remember the hight sorry

I think it was about 51 so you may need to rig a blow off tube arrangement

if I had seen this about 2 hours ago I would have the exact hight for you

Sorry, you're knackered then.

They are 310mm in diameter, 510mm tall with the lid on, but 595mm with a bung and tubular airlock fitted.

As Godfrey said, if you can rig a blow-off tube instead of an airlock then you're in with a chance, but you've only got 35mm to play with.

And they hold 30 litres to the base of the neck.

Thanks Moley. Might have to swerve it then.

Never heard of this but I'll ask the missus, see if she can help me out. ;)

Guessing though, is that a flexi tube out the bung and bent round to form a low height u bend?

fit a tube into the bung
this then drops to a bowl with water that is the airlock

Right, I'm on it.
Could even throw A 90 degree elbow straight out the bung to keep it even shallower.
