Just bought a wilkos cerveza. would just like to know what i could add to make it better.

Im a novice and a bit confused as to what dme is? do you use that in place of sugar?

Thanks in advance

DME is dried malt extract. I would 100% recommend using this in place of sugar. You'll get a better beer by miles. Sugar thin out beer and provides no flavour. DME or LME (liquid malt extract) are preferable.

Use it weight for weight in place of sugar

Is spraymalt the same as this DME and LME?

Spraymalt is another term for DME. Use DME weight for weight as previously mentioned. LME can be used at 1 to 1.5 ratio (due to the water content) hence it being sold in 1.5kg tins.

Yes, I would use beer enhancer, half dme and brown sugar if I recall correctly

Beer enhancer is 50% DME and 50% dextrose.

i did one of these last year and it was good with just wilkos brewing sugar do it as per instructions then any changes you make on subsequent brews will be noticeable for better or worse
