2 its part my dads house and part mine so i moved back in ...
and we dont get on but try to make the most of it ...

so i stay in the bedroom most of the time..
and do as little brewing stuff down stairs as posible ... ;)

as for the carpit it needs replacing realy iv had it for 5 years...
so not botherd about it but i try not to make any mess...

i must admit it could possibly come back like new...
if i got one of the hire cleaners from bnq ...

I suspect that you won't get anything close to a Guinness without dispensing under nitrogen, and serving very cold. :/

We've just started drinking our Wilko Velvet Stout. Personally I can't stand Guinness, and as I'm not a dark beer drinker in general I'm hardly going to become an overnight convert to this brew. That being said, my mate who does like his beers dark is a big fan of the brew, says it isn't like Guinness, as it's softer and doesn't have as much of a burnt taste as he thinks Guinness does. He prefers it in fact, and while I'm hardly going to be drinking it every night I've had a couple of bottles and it's certainly more my style than Guinness is. Much easier to drink.

hi Templar...
i agree its not every ones tipple ...
but i love it each to there own ...
im sat here now drinking a wilkos apple cider its not great but its very nice ...
very clear no funny after tastes but its got a head mmm..
thats strange to me cider with a head ...

whats your best kit the one you enjoy the most... :thumb:

We did a Wilko apple Cider as well, and although it was a little sharper than I'd like, it was pretty decent. My favourite so far has been a Woodfordes Sundew, though that could be because it's the only one so far we've had in a barrel. We've got a Wilko Golden Ale in there at the moment, and I've got high hopes about that one too. I like a good golden ale or an IPA myself, and luckily they're pretty well represented in the home brew kit world.

To be honest, I've not yet had a brew I hated. My least favourite would be the Wilko Velvet Stout, but that's only because I don't like stout in general. I actually cooked a casserole with a bottle the other day, and it turned out beautiful.

ok so i primed my stout again 2/3 weeks ago ....
and its just the opened some bottles its just same as before no fizz at all ...

so im thinking i didnt forget to prime it the first time ...
it must just be the yeast was dead all along ...
bugger...

what can i do with it now :hmm: .

then when it has re-prime and re-bottle ...
