Just been in my local Wilkinsons got 5 larger kits and a 30 bottle wine kit for the grand total of £13

Is this a sale in all wilkinsons, or was it stuff they were trying to get rid of in your local?

I believe they started to get there own brands in but also my local (Bolton) is making room for the new kitchen section. They all youngs kits 2 x definitive 2 x Edme and 1 x Brewbuddy. Hopefully giving me 200 pints for a tenner excluding sugar :)

Left work early to take a look, sadly there was nothing at my local that was in an offer. They had the usual coopers and wherry etc, with the addition of their own brand of wine and single can beer/lager/ciders etc.

Their own brand single can beer kits were all £10, didn't have time to check what the weight of the can was though. Quite a nice looking selection.... Also they have 1kg bags of beer kit enhancer for £2

I may get a couple of the new range and give them a go. Picked up a leaflet which I will try and upload a picture of later tonight
Cheers

Shall attempt to upload this photo, again

That's odd...

On the last bullet point on the white page it says: Bottle labels - great if you'd like to give your homebrew as a gift

I thought that, strictly, you weren't allowed to sell or give away your homebrew (something to do with duty payments I think)

Or have i got my wires crossed somewhere?

Just as well as the larger police were just about to issue a ticket.....

As anyone made these kits and can you recommend what you used normal sugar, brewin sugar etc? They were cheap as chips so I'm happy to spend some extra cash to improve taste etc
