Daft Name . . . Fantastic Beer!

Mole is the latest in a range of beers to come out of Wibblers brewery named after country animals. it is a strictly one off annual special, and consists of two gyles from the mash tun one at around 10-12% (the Wobbly. . . wonder why it's called that) and one at around 4.5-5.5% (Crafty)

Last years Wobbly came out at 11%, and is as black as the ace of spades (well it was supposed to be an imperial cascadian Ale) . . . Lots of Toffee notes with an intriguing hoppy nose (5 US hops in the bill).

Tastewise lots of caramel/toffee notes with a nice hop flavour (after a year!!), bitterness is reduced, but present, zero harshness from the considerable qty of roast hops in the grain bill, sweet finish.

Look out for it this winter on cask (If you happen to be in one of the 7 Pubs / festivals that will have it on draft ;) :D )

As an additional benefit, Wibblers bottles, despite using foil self adhesive labels, are great for reusing for homebrew, the labels peel off really easily leaving no adhesive debris behind.

And what's wrong with the name?

So is this available in bottles and where can I get some?

From a somewhat offended but frequently wobbly mole.

Unfortunately Moley it was a very limited bottling . . . And AFAIK all the bottles (apart from a select secret stash) have been sold.

It will be available on draft this winter in only 7 locations (mostly Essex based).

I might be persuaded to stick one of my bottles in the post to you if you PM me your address
