Hi has anybody got a recipe for a white wine made from shop bought juice doing a one at the minute with red grape and apple juice from asda but would like to try a white wine thanks

You will need white grape juice and to be honest you would find it easier to find hens teeth or rocking horse **** at your local supermarket.

If you can find some let us know i used to love the white grape juice and apple juice white wine we used to make, it was called "Easy White" and was very popular here.

I've been on asda website they do welches grape pear and apple wonder if that would be OK.have you got any decent recipes

No its only 40% juice so you would need at least 2 of them and 1.5 litres of apple juice.

Ingredients
Water, Fruit Juice from Concentrate (20%) (Grape (12%), Pear (5%), Apple (3%)), Sugar, Acid (Malic Acid), Vitamin C, Flavourings, Sweetener (Sucralose)

Rosé wine

1 litre Red grape juice.

1.5 litre Apple Juice.

750g Sugar.

1 tsp Tannin or a mug of very strong black tea. (3 bags stirred every couple of minutes as you put the rest of the ingredients together)

1 tsp Yeast (i use youngs super wine yeast compound)

1 tsp Yeast Nutrient.

1 tsp Pectolase.

1 tsp Glycerine. (optional)

1 tsp citric acid or juice of one lemon. (optional)

Have you tried using cranberry juice if so what the mix

You need a litre of 100% juice so if its only 50% juice you need to double up then add a litre of red grape juice.

It should be OK as the pom juice is quite strong maybe add a litre of apple juice just to be on the safe side.

I just went for the red grape and apple juice don't really know what I'm doing so 2 litre pom juice 1 litre grape and 1 litre apple seems like a lot of juice

You are only using 2 x pom juice as its not 100% juice so it would have been fine, give it a go it'll be fine, i have made many versions of this wine and the only one i didn't like was the orange version.

OK thanks I will get them in next week and give it a go so 4 litres of juice in total topped up with litre of water thanks

I'm making a red with Garffen's concentrated red grape juice. £12 for a litre but it makes 4L once diluted. They do a white too but only in large quantities.
