Hey,

After a very good first brew I've decided to get a keg instead of using bottles. I'm aiming to get a larder fridge and have a couple of kegs in there with taps on the door. But I cant decide between a king keg, or corny.

I'm mainly going to be brewing lager or other carbonated beers, and quite like the idea of carbonating in the keg instead of fermenting the beer a second time. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to this?
I've read you cant pressure carbonate in a king keg, is this right?

Thanks!

One advantage is you can set the level of carbonation exactly as you like it whereas when priming, you get what you get depending on factors.

I would say that is probably not right, (I have done so before getting cornies) however with a Lager you are probably going for higher pressures therefore a Cornie keg is going to be much better - safer and longer lasting.
