Which hops to use with a honey malt

As the title says,which hops would work well with a honey malt? Would use as a tea in a coopers oz lager kit.what would be the best method with the hops and malt? How long a boil etc.looking to make a honey lager type,thanks in advance.be using Melanodin Malt (crushed) 500g by the way

you need lager hops really. something like Saaz or Hallertauer boiled for 10 mins in a few litres of water will add aroma.

malt, steep for 30 mins in 65c water :)

not particularly suited to a lager as they're an ale hop, but they do give a nice finish to light beers in particular. :thumb:

Did nt know they were an ale hop but the write up mentioned the sweetness among other attributes,I may try Goldings in one batch and either of the ones you mentioned in another.currently dry hopping a coopers Mexican with saaz,just to see how it comes out :)
