Wherry Advice needed

Hi, I'm pretty new to brewing, please could someone advise on the following.
I have just bought some Wherry from a second hand market stall, it's a bit out of date by about 4 years! Will I be able to use the tins, if so can you give me some tips or recipes. If it can be used it's experimenting time. Thanks in advance.

The tins of syrup will probably be OK (that's the point of preserving stuff in tins) but the kit yeast should probably be replaced with a new packet - take your pick.

Defo replace the yeast with S-04 or Nottingham. Can should still be good! Can't hurt to try!
