I pitched some yeast into a starter yesterday and set it going on the stir plate - 40ml new Wyeast 1028 into 580ml 1.036 wort.
(I'll only be brewing 12L so don't need a huge starter)
I'm pretty sure it's fermented out already, but I'm not brewing until Friday evening so I don't expect to pitch the yeast until Friday night or Saturday morning.
Is it better to leave it covered on the stir plate, or stick it in the fridge?
