Hi All,

I have not bottled beer since I started kegging over a year ago. Due to damand from friends and family to share my beer, I have now baught a beer gun and have gone through all of the bottles I had stored up. Does anyone know of a decent place to buy bottles at a good price? I dont want to buy a pallet load and will probably be looking to buy 100-200 330ml or 500ml brown bottles at a time. Any advice would be great.

Really depends where you live I suppose, and if you are looking to order online or not.

My LHBS in Glasgow sells 12 x 500ml brown glass bottles for £4.50 and they are excellent quality. So I would try your LHBS, if you have one, as a first port of call.

Could always ask your local pub for their empties?

thats the other crowd I used....they are cheaper buy you need to pay for delivery. Worth checking out.

It was mentioned on another thread yesterday that the range are doing swingtops for £9 for 12 bottlesI think,I'm just buying the grolsch lager at asda for 3 for a 5er,the lagers decent so its win win

If you don't mind plastic, tesco doing 24 for 7 quid with caps at the moment reduced from 10.
