Where do people tend to get their sugars from?

Hi guys pretty obvious I'm sure, but I'm still getting into this and want to get all the various types of sugar, 500g to 1k packs, brewing sugar, spray malt all up to malt extract, so I can have a play with each brew as I go and see the differences.
Ive seen the links for brewing shops which is great, I got to a place near Doncaster for my kits and equipment so far but want to start ordering online and with all the choices I don't really know who to go for. I've also checked eBay but I think the shipping on eBay tends to out price them to make it worth while.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated, I'm starting with some kits and once they turn out I'm wanting to get my head around all grain in time for Xmas :

For sugars to add to kits etc you could try the Homebrew company, click on their link at the yop of the page, they have a good selection.

Or you can try http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/, they also have a good selection.

Both companies are good to deal with.

You can of course also buy sugar in your local supermarket.
