Where can I get this yeast...WY1469 ?

Ive just printed off the ingredients for the Hobgoblin II, and it says you cane use - Nottingham (Danstar) Ale yeast

Hope thats of some use.

But CraftBrewer sell it.
 
yeah, you are right, but I have heard that the danstar gives a slightly dry taste and the WY1469 is about as close as you can get to Whychwoods original yeast, so I'm trying to find it

BrewUk one of the forum sponsers stock WYeast's and are always helpful, give them a email to see if they can get some in for you.
 
It's only available at certain times, I got some from Hop and Grape last year.

It's supposed to be Timothy Taylor's Yeast isn't it? It's certainly a Yorkshire Yeast.
 
Hey!.......I'll have you know; all our whippets are on proper leads these days....there's a guy I know who imports them from Luton :grin:
