Does anyone know of any supermarkets or high street shops that sell Saison?
I’ve tried it. I didn’t like it much. The ginger gave a weird metallic flavour.M & S ( even the small ones) do a tin of Cornish saison. No idea how representative of the style though.
Hitachino.Asda do Hirachi Nest (?) Saison.
Dangerous bit of knowledge, I think Amazon call them Add-on items.6 pack of saison DuPont is £15 from Amazon (free delivery if you have a Prime account).
A bit more pricey per bottle than buying from a specialist seller but most of those will charge delivery on such a small order.
What’s it like?St Austell Brewery Saison is in Tesco 4 for 6 I believe
I’d put money on it being the same beerWhat’s it like?
St Austell brew the M&S Cornish Saison that’s a bit naff.
Not necessarily. The 0.5% pale ale Adnams make for M&S isn’t the same as the 0.5% Ghost Ship.I’d put money on it being the same beer
Aldi stock a scottish one (maybe only up here though)
https://www.sixdnorth.co.uk/items/brevet (think its this one, its quite nice)
Its good though you are doing some research.
