Hi peeps right does the hydrometer take a different reading with wow wine?
I started off with a reading of 1.094 and racked off today after a week and tested it at this stage and the reading is 0.092 I have put this in my ABV calculator and it is coming out at 130%
I know this is not right but why would I be getting these reading and is it a different proses with wow?
Thanks in advance

A reading of 0.092 cannot be correct.

Pure water should read 1.000, hydrometers measure specific gravity which is the relative density of something compared to pure water. A hydrometer reading will only be affected by the density of the liquid you're measuring, but 0.092 is less than 10% the density of water..

Are you sure that you took your readings correctly?

Just another quick one I am also doing a maddog lager and it’s been 2 weeks and the is still bubbles in my air lock Do I leave it until the airlock has stopped bubbling and do the hydro reading over 24hours or stick to the 2:2:2 rule?
