Hi all, I have just moved and was going to work on a nice DIY system using my Pi to control, and have a setup that i can either use for 3 vessel or BIAB.
All is well until the mrs say my DIY wiring, pi not yet in printed case etc... and wants me to have a proper heater. (Im only doing 20l batches)
I have about £100, can go a bit higher if needed. I looked at the peco which would be fine but i would prefer metal.
Any suggestions would be great

A lot of people have Klarstein (me included) and get on with them. I've had mine for 3 years and it's still going strong. How much over could you go, i'm sure you could find something decent 2nd hand?

Someone mentioned on here that they sometimes sell off seconds, I remember because it was just after I bought my fullhorn.

Can't remember where they sold them.off though. (Did you know Argos does that on an eBay shop - or did a couple of years ago)

I got my Klarstein Maischfest from Hifi Tower, 'B rated' for about £124. Not sure if they still do they though - had a quick look on the website there and it doesn't seem to list B grade items now. Have a look anyway @mcscruff, they have the Fullhorn on there for £149.99

Hi all. Thank you for your help, it almost paid off.... Over a month ago i ordered a Füllhorn Mash Kettle 2500W 30L LED. Unfortunately somewhere in DPD land there has been an error and I still dont have it. Klarstein seem to be no help (we will pass this to logistics then never hear back) and now it looks like its getting returned to Germany without delivery...
But i need beer....

Wish me luck
This is only a test run to see if the plastic holds

I ordered a B stock Klarstein Mundshenk a year or so ago from Hi Fi Tower.
It took so long to be delivered I cancelled it in the end - still happily brewing simple BIAB with an 8 gallon pan on a hob.
I think if I had the money to upgrade my kit now I'd spend the money on a stainless steel fermenter with temp control.
