Hi everyone,
So I've had my first bash at the simple smash which is conditioning and have 2 kits on the go.
Currently waiting for my bonfire toffee stout to be delivered. So I randomly brought some malts and have the following (only the 1 hops because I brought everything from b2b which have none available at the moment).
What would you recommend I could make out of this lot?
3kg Maris Otter
500g Caramalt
500g Chocolate Malt
500g Torrified Wheat
500g Munich Malt
Some fuggles hops
Nottingham yeast.
Thanks for any help 🙏😀😀

There is an awful lot you could do with what you have

Have a look here Beerlad
Fantastic, haven't come across that site before...maybe useful as I have a few odds and sods I'm trying to throw together for my next brew.

In answer to the original post, you nearly have all the ingredients for the Southern Brown Ale provided by Greg Hughes, you could adapt that one maybe? You should play with a recipe builder to see if you have enough MO for a full brew (23l), or if you need to scale down. Enjoy tinkering and I'm sure you'll get a nice beer. 👍

That website looks fantastic will get some great help there....
I've heard of Mr Hughes but not looked into him so that's my homework tonight.
