Just wondering what size gas bottle other BIABers use and how long do they last?
They could be on for a couple of hours,so I imagine a 9kg bottle or perhaps more?
Need to have a back up as well,so maybe a 9kg and a 4.5kg bottle?

I used a 5kg to run the burner with a full 5kg bottle on the shelf for a backup. I made 40L batches, I think i got 4 brews out of one bottle (it might have been more though).

Im currently keeping accurate notes of gas consumption....weight/time and let you know...Why are you doing BIAB if you have a gas burner? just curious

I can only spend so much before I can go to a 3 vessel AG :D

In the end I went for a 13kg and a back up of 3.9kg. Took one 3.9kg bottle back and they charged me £16,which seemed cheap
