Had a brew on it yesterday. A pilsner with kölsch yeast. Went pretty well, a few mistakes and bugs to work out but it's new, so expected.

My numbers were a bit off though. I was aiming for 22L in my FV, I'd read about the measurements being off on the Robo so I measured my volumes going in, I put 17L for mash and 15 for sparge (or so I thought) but somehow only ended up with 23 when I came to boil, I had to resparge with cold water, then after the 60 min boil and cooling I ended up with 25L in my FV, but the OG was exactly what I was expecting. Not complaining about having more beer than I was expecting but just not quite sure what happened really.

Anyway, thanks again for the advice, happy with my purchases, cheers!

Hey I saw from another post you are using CML Kolsch as well.
What temp you got it at (I went for 15c)?
It says on the pack to lager for 2 months, will you go that long?
Also will you do a diacetyl rest?

I just treated like an ale...18 til it finished then cold crashed for a couple of days. I doubt I will lager it..

Fair enough. I've never lagered anything so fancy giving it a go. Don't know if it'll last 8 weeks in there though!

Let me know how yours comes out
