Hi Folks

I made some gooseberry wine nearly 4 weeks ago and put it into demi johns (2 one gallon, and 2 half gallon) about two and a half weeks ago. One of the gallons and one of the half gallons, which is a third full, stopped fermenting after a few days, the other two are still going. Have just tested the SG and three are at 1005 and the small amount is at 1000. The whole thing started at 1085. Should I bottle the two that stopped, or add more yeast - is it too late? Any ideas?

Thank you

If I was you I would leave them all until they have all finished fermenting and taste them all to make sure all is ok, then if possible rack them all of into one container to blend them back together, then either bottle or leave to mature a while longer in bulk before bottling

Thank you. I'm going to test it next Saturday and I'll let you know. Apparently, just because it's not bubbling, it doesn't mean it's not fermenting. It's clearing well though! (It tastes nice!)
