I put Muntons Hazy IPA kit on Saturday evening, added liquid yeast (doing it first time, I washed it before as shown on videos), it did not start for about 24 hours in my pressure fermenter, so I added additional liquid yeast and shaked the fermenter. I believe it started brewing as I do not see any sedimentation at the bottom and good froth on the top. However, my RAPT Pill gives me bizarre readings - it was showing alcohol content was increasing when I checked it at around 4:00AM, but then it has gone wild.
Could you advise if I should be worried? Muntons comes with a bag to filter out hops, I put it on the end pipe filter for serving (I have Apollo Unitank 30 Litres), wonder if the bag added buoyancy to the Pill as they seem to be floating close to each other. Tried shaking the fermenter, but they still seem to be floating close to each other. Thanks
