What do you stand your Kettle /Brewzilla / Grainfather /Brewtools etc on?

I have my G40 on a home made deep trolley, which is high enough to enable me to get a standard size bucket under the drain tap. I use heavy duty casters from B&Q - two are lockable but I never use that feature - the G40 is heavy enough to be quite stable without. The overall height of the trolley with casters is about 16 inches.

I stand my 20l Braumeister on a Workmate with legs folded, so it in it's lower position. It's just the right height to be able to lift the malt pipe.

I made a wooden stand with a small gaps in the base for air flow. It's just high enough that I could fill the all rounder from the tap. Makes it easier to see the controller.

I’ve realised what sort of might fit the bill for height, size and style - a TV stand . There’s lots on Gumtree - just need to make sure they can take the weight and are deep enough. A nice glass, black, chrome type would do nicely, might even be possible to add wheels as a retrofit!

Me too.
But you have to wind the top out wide enough to support the edges of the boiler

I stand mine on the floor. Its on a large silicone dog feeding mat, cost about 7 pounds from Kmart. Any drips from the front ball lock and cam lock are caught nicely. Rest of stuff on boxes and shelves.
Bit of heat protection as well.

I knocked up a 3 level stand that fits in the corner of the garage. BZ is good height for stirring and I can lift the pipe ok, and it's high enough to drain straight into fermenter via the tap. Sparge water heater on left, which is where I put the bottling bucket too, for a bit of height. Added a 4 point power socket too which is handy...

Yep tap right outside the door, I just use the 5l jug for filling things, rain/tank water source so very close to RO profile, good lighting and wifi too...

I made up a brewing trolley that works for me, the boiler goes on the worktop, Klarstein on the lower platform and fermenting bin on the floor to fill.
Some grain is kept in the tub below and the drawer and cupboard are full of various brewing paraphernalia.
I can wheel it around to brew or tuck it in a corner when I'm doing something else.

I lift it using the supplied handle, it is easy enough as it is not so high.
The upper worktop on the trolley is the same as a kitchen worktop height.
The height of the lower shelf for the klarstein was just enough to get a fermenting bin in underneath.

I use 1 of these, mi mate was throwing it in skip so I rescued it.

Ahh thanks. I use the handle as well and lift it in stages.
I'm transferring into fermentasaurus and the opening is 90 cm off the ground so I use the pump to fill it.

First brew day for a while, and still finding my way on the new boiler - that’s another thread though . After the lightbulb moment about a TV stand - and a bit of a Gumtree browse- I now have this which very smartly holds both boilers .

It also fits the brief of strong,powder coated steel,and shiny chrome .
Most importantly though I can now manage the boiler without needing a step stool which is so so good .

That looks very smart but I would be paranoid about the glass breaking at a critical time.
Personally, I would be tempted to replace or reinforce with some hefty plywood.

Aren't these things made of laminated glass? A TV stand will be designed for some pretty hefty weights I think.

Edit to add I jist did a quick Google and found the rated weight of a really cheap one out of Argos was 75 kg.

Without knowing Anna's make or model I'd still put it well above the wee snide one I checked

I've no idea of the make or model either, I reckon the glass is plenty strong enough, it's the support it sits on is more the issue. Having used it today, the middle portion of the glass did bend a bit at full volume plus grain, so I think I might either spoil the top appearance with a piece of marine ply or support the middle with an extra something.

I recycled a cable drum , lying on its side , most electrical wholesalers have some lying around. I used castors for mobility . I remember being told that office chairs should always have an odd number of castors usually 3 or 5 for stability. I also bolted on some unistrut to make a hoist for the grain bag .
