I took the dog for a walk along the old railway track and found this at the side of the path.

I never knew you could get in a can.

Well I went to buy some CO2 to carbonate my beer and found out that they are having to increase the deposit on the bottle because a lot of their bottles are still in pub cellars doing nothing, so they have had to buy more cannisters - they cost £55 each

I also found out that it was foggy in Leek this morning - beat that!

Far too long a day signed in at work. Started at 6.30am and finished at 5.00pm 😞 however, I really am grateful for the fact I can work.

I managed to sneak out at lunch to fit two USB fans to the keezer and after work, returned to tidy up the cables.

Made chicken shawarma wraps for dinner.

Poured myself a Siren Craft "Out Too Far" sea buckthorn pale ale and now sat in front of the tellybox.

Work was well work, at least I can work from home so don’t need to worry about social distancing and all the other things needed for a COVID secure workplace.

Also had time to put my loaf of bread in the oven between calls (I decided to try increasing the ratio of white flour in my wholemeal loaf from 10:90 to 25:75 made for a slightly lighter (in texture loaf).

Also sorted out pizza dough so had fresh pizza for dinner, ow enjoying a glass, of beer and glad it’s Friday.

With a day promising to peak in the high 70s (°F), i decided to it the road with my Patriot Guard Riders bike group to attend a memorial service for a veteran called to rest.
Outstanding 1.5hr ride, 30min service, 2hr lunch, & 1.5hr ride back. The service was in an area of AZ I had not been. About 10mi from Mexican border & an added 2k feet elevation.
Most relaxing and fulfilled day in a long time. (Pic on the way back)

I've been lucky enough to visit Arizona when we stayed overnight at a ranch on Mead Road while visiting Las Vegas. Done the whole helicopter canyon trip, horseriding at sunset and campfires with the coyotes. Amazing scenery, unforgettable experience 😍

Sounds like a brilliant day out, we've got the heating on here.

It was great. Don't be too jealous. This is after all the desert. Mid 30s at night, last few daily highs in low 70s. Within the week we'll be back into the mid-50s for daily highs. (Of course July-August is all >100). Yet, compared to England... We get ~13" train / year. 😳

Run heat at night, A/C in day this week... We're in a cheap apt...

Busy day today as I had to go and survey a job SD of course for a friend, wholesalers to order, stop at another friend who's moving house as the landlord has sold it after she had put a lot of work into including an industrial Kiln she bought and I had to wire. Now in hindsight I said i would put the supply in and leave it so as it could be removed and now it will after 6 months.

Had two fermenters and a keg needing cleaning so as I could put the Woddfordes Wherry kit on and bottle/keg my Proper Job clone and now it's all done I'm having a Kinnegar Scraggy Bay as I'm not at work till Friday night.
No bottles for you @samale.....
