I am brand new here so please forgive my non-knowledge. I recently bought a Maxi 210 that has come with a font and all connections etc. However, the 4 pipes coming from the font (2 are a slim diameter and 2 are thicker) are really short and will only reach the cooler if the cooler is propped on a table nearby, which I don't want to do. Therefore, I need to buy some of this clear pipe to extend them and obviously straight connectors. I also need to buy some elbow connectors as the present ones seem a little worn. Finally, there is an odd (to me) device sticking upwards that the seller told me is the flow speed gadget. However, it is VERY hard to twist and then when I do twist it has no effect on the flow. I think I may have broken it twisting it too hard one way. It does indicate 'Flow +' and 'Flow -' but it doesn't really do anything no matter how hard I struggle to turn it. I know you guys may point me to Ebay & Amazon to buy these items which I could do, but I guess that as this is a specialist forum many of you will know the cheapest/best place to buy from. I did do a bit of research and discovered the elbows may be John Guest 3/8 (am I right?) but they vary wildly in price on line so I am not sure if I am comparing like for like.
Finally, if you're not already bored with me I think I'd like to light up the font (double headed) but I think I may need a transformer?
