what bottles can i use to keep me brew in?

i have plastic bottles 2ltr, these are from the spring water that i used
to make the brew--it is brew buddy lager..

almost ready to bottle the brew, but dont want to have my bottles exploding if they are no good,
any help PLEASE..

Brown heavy glass bottles (crown capped) or Plastic PET bottles (the ones that have had carbonated products like pop or fizzy water) - if they are green or clear store them out of the light :thumb:

No your pet bottles are just fine, just make sure you put them in a dark place, or they will skunk, Light will cause a chemical reaction with the hops and give you rank tasting beer!

If you can get hold of some tetralone and add it to your brew this would not be a problem.

Hang on UP, if these are bottles from still spring water they might not be suitable.

Bigbow: Are these bottles smooth sided or have they got ridges and rings around them?
Smooth sides :thumb:
Ridges and rings :nono:
