Just to be sure...you can not make all grain with one of the beginners kits, eg the coopers brewery kit? but it is possible to then use the kit with additional equipment (that i could make myself) to make all grain?

Sorry if this all feels like im going round in circles. I just don't want to make any major decisions and then regret them later on

Yeah you can start of with the coopers kit and then build the rest up to make an AG brewery with home made equipment. Are you going to be brewing lager or ale?

what are the reasons for why you cant use one of these kits? is it because of adding the grain or the hops? Can these kits only use the syrup stuff?

I want to brew a number of things. I want to try IPA with lots of hoppy goodness.

i want to try and make a cerveza as well for summer time.

I also want to make some real ales too...To be honest im a big fan of nearly all beer...( this does not include fosters, carling, carlsberg etc. i hate these.)

Thanks

there are some kits that are a bit more involved like the Brewers Choice kits where you do have an element of choice in what your aiming to produce. Relatively expensive though at £17-18 + the malt extract.
