I have tweaked everyone of the simply kits over the cold months, all were really good with as stated above no twang

I tend to prefer using one ‘can’ kits when I brew form kits precisely because they are so easy to tweak and yes find the Simply kits are great for this.

My Barley Wine BA vintage 2023, still very good to drink. The seals on the bottles do their job, no oxidation.
The sealing wax is re-usable.

I’ve had a fun day with the auditors and ‘just one more quick question’ so really need a beer, so a pint of heavy, slightly sweet malty goodness.

Kegged London Porter.

Clearing and reddish brown notes coming through. The soft dark fruits from the Dark Crystal and Bramling Cross are definitely there now. Brown malt still too present. It's not bad, but you probably wouldn't want to have more than 2 or 3 before before it overpowered your taste buds. Back to conditioning this one.
