Simply Bitter

With the bad weather we where having I opted to brew a kit, though I used a couple of kilo of Maris Otter mashed it for an hour and then gave it a quick 15 minute boil instead of sugar or DME and subbed the packet of yeast for a pack of CML Midlands. And yes it’s pretty good no ‘kit twang’ you sometimes get from kits, nice pleasant flavour good underlying bitterness honestly it’s just a good solid session bitter which I would happily pay for and drink in a pub without complaint.

That said I would have complained about the cleanliness of the glass though sadly I only have myself to blame on that one.
