Another work night in a Dublin hotel, and it’s a bit crap. The Guinness is average. They do have Galway Bay Full Sail on draught but I’ve got patients to see in the morning. I’ll stick with something a bit more sessionable.

Apart from the 'Oort cloud' which was lovely, the rest were much of a muchness, the last one (psychedelic skull type art on the can) tasted a bit like pond water.

@dave_77 very kindly sent me a couple of bonus beers when sending in an entry for this month's competition.

Starting tonight with a lovely 5.2% pilsner.

Straw to gold colour with a lovely fluffy white head. Is crystal clear (condensation in the photo doesn't do it justice). Floral aroma with a little grain character. Flavour is a lovely mix of floral, spice and lemon hop character with honey and bready malt. Nice clean finish with a moderate level of bitterness.

Really nice beer, thanks for sharing

To me, a very 'german' tasting beer.
Would be great with some weiswurst and sweet mustard. Probably carbonated a touch too high for me though. PROST!
