Saw a few old England players (I was told as not a football fan)

I'm pretty sure there were some famous footballers in the bar too. A few doing their UEFA licences apparently.

And like you, I didn't recognise anyone.
Nice place though. I'm working from one of the breakout areas today.

Pint of the Red. First one so not clear. Quite red, if maybe a touch too dark when held up to light. Regrettably I seem to have poured this through the beer line which previously had a spiced beer on it. They've have purple line cleaner, but still obvious spice aroma. Will bin the line and boil the tap before the next sample.

isopropyl alcohol, nasty stuff we used it in the electrical relay manufacture.

Probably sat next to me. I'd have no idea who he was, although the German accent might have given it away.

Bit late on the post but last night was the last of my For the Mass Light Lager and another pint of the Irish Liffey on nitro.
Annoyingly the very last pint of the Lager was the one that actually seemed to finally be grand with the carbonation. Big focus in 2025 on getting my carbing right. And when I say getting it right I mean just not trying to rush something through last minute like I have every other time.
