Found it! I haven’t brewed it since I started building recipe sheets so the info is a bit sparse. This was for a 23 litre batch, ABV was 4.75%. I probably wouldn’t use US-05 next time so feel free to sub the yeast. Also, Magnum doesn’t seem as high on AA this year do you’ll need a little more than in the recipe to achieve the IBUs.

3.3Kg Pale Malt
500g Brown malt
350g Dark Crystal EBC 250
350g Chocolate malt
300g Malted Wheat
200g Roasted Barley

10g Magnum AA=15.3% 60 mins 20 IBUs
1/2 Protofloc tablet at 10 mins
30g Bramling X AA=6.8% 10 mins 5 IBUs
23 Litres in FV, OG=1050
1 pack US-05 yeast

Barrel on day 12, FG=1014
12 ml Special Ingredients plum flavouring

Clint just reminded me I have a keg of plum Porter in my brew-shed This is it. It’s in a King keg and is almost a year old now (take note people that wonder how long beer lasts in a king keg!). The flavour is good but it has lost some of it’s plummy flavour. The aroma is probably just as strong as it ever was.

I honestly can’t remember but Iooking at the recipes I think I’d probably pick the special-b recipe for flavour but drop the Torrified wheat because it had quite a big head?

Just noticed - don’t use 15ml flavouring, it’s a little too much. 12ml is about right.

I was going for a walk and suddenly felt like a pint. Hook Norton Hooky is described as an Amber Ale (I.e. A bitter) the beer itself is very Malty with just a hint of bitterness. Temperature wise it’s perfect cellar temperature very light carbonation an example of why a properly kept case ale is very hard to beat.

I watched a YT video yesterday about that brewery on the Craft Beer channel. Keeping cask ale alive and so on. Looked amazing. What a place!

Stout with a cold brew coffee taste, thankfully not heavy, surprisingly light.
I don't often like strange stouts as they can be too sickly but this is alright

Had a couple of pints of that in the Jerusalem Tavern in Clerkenwell last night. V good. Had a sip of their Plum Porter too - also delicious but not quite right for the occasion.
