My glass of choice is a hefeweizen glass as every time you straighten it after a swallow, it sort of splashes back and renews the head. The head's not just for show, drinking through the head affects the flavour.

So what you're saying is that I need to buy more glasses?

Had this schwarzbier from @dave_77 during the Liverpool game.
Had a read up on the style and this ticks all the boxes. Dark and roasty almost like a stout but with a nice light lager body.

It was another daughter stage performance night, with accompanying ferrying of her 93y/o grandmother to observe.
Long may it continue.
Looking at the image reminds me of something I'm somewhat pleased about.
I carried that pint glass from pouring it outside in the garage to the table indoors without a single spillage.
Not a drop.
And I closed and locked the garage door along the way.
No DTs as yet then,
can't be long now though.

My last 4 stubby's of English IPA, got over 140 litres of various beers in the wings conditioning and just left with 8 long necks of mild until I can get stuck into my Welsh Archers Bitter.
Nice lacing down to the end.

I have entered this beer into the Black Friday comp next week so we shall see what the experienced judges have to say. I'm happy with my first attempt, think that base beer with a different yeast and hops would be good for a Black IPA.
Think I preferred it to my Czech Dark lager, it was a little drier and easier drinking.

Nice, I was listening to a podcast and they were talking about this beer. True Thoughts are one of my favourite record labels and it peaked my interest when they were talking about a collaboration which would maybe get the name out to different people for the brewery and the record label. Who was the brewery again? Nice beer then?
