I have been looking for Marston's 'P' for ages, but they have changed it haven't they... it's now 'Pedigree'... I am going to have to recondition my brain to seek out that label, it's very nice! Bottle conditioned beers are always much more enjoyable than those that are not I find - a generalisation - but a good one I reckon!

From Aldi and they have tried to make the label look a bit like Titanic so I had high hopes.
Very disappointing as a Plum Porter though - they forgot the plum! None whatsoever.

The porter part is alright though.

I’m starting tonight as I often do with an English Bitter. I’m planning another batch in the next day or two and I’ve decided I’d like a little more caramel malt and a touch more bitterness. For now, this will do nicely.

Just a couple of snifters...up early off the last night shift and bottled the latest batch of Pipster Pale and cleaned up in double quick time. First a 3/4 pint of the bottling dregs...yes,it's looking good! Now a sample of the five points bitter.
